However, in June, after the Central Bank of the Russian Federation maintained the key rate and deposit rates stabilized, there was a correction in the average deposit size, which decreased by 9%. According to analysts, this may be due to the desire of some depositors to wait for the results of the July meeting of the regulator, at which the key rate could be raised to 18%, which, in turn, will have a positive impact on deposit conditions.
Deposits with a maturity of 6 months turned out to be the most popular, accounting for more than 94% of the total number of open deposits. In second place are deposits for a period of 3 months – these deposits accounted for a share of 5.4%. Third place was taken by annual deposits with a share of 0.2%.
