VLADIVOSTOK, July 9 Trade turnover between the Far East and China has doubled in 10 years, reaching 2 trillion rubles in 2023, reported Deputy Prime Minister, Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Far Eastern Federal District Yuri Trutnev.
On Tuesday, the 5th meeting of the intergovernmental Russian-Chinese commission on cooperation and development of the Far East and the Baikal region of the Russian Federation and the North-East of the People's Republic of China is being held in Vladivostok, under the joint chairmanship of Vice-Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China Zhang Guoqing and Trutnev. 
«China is Russia's main economic partner in the Far East. Over 10 years, trade turnover between the Far East and the PRC has doubled and reached 2 trillion rubles in 2023,” Trutnev said at meeting.
