KRASNODAR, July 10 A ceramic wall materials plant in the Krasnodar Territory has accelerated the packaging process by 36.6% thanks to the introduction of lean technologies as part of the national project «Labor Productivity», the regional administration reported.
«The Novokubansk Plant of Ceramic Wall Materials has accelerated the process of packaging products. The enterprise has completed the active phase of the national project «Labor Productivity», — the authorities report, adding that the enterprise managed to reduce the process time by 36.6% and increase output by 13.4%.
It is specified that the Novokubansk Plant of Ceramic Wall Materials has been operating since 1987, producing products for cladding and laying external and internal walls. As part of the national project, the employees of the enterprise, together with experts from the Regional Competence Center, increased the efficiency of the packaging and packaging process.
The team introduced standards for operating procedures, a system for organizing a rational workplace, and scheduled preventive maintenance of machinery and equipment. The employees reduced frequent stops of the conveyor belt, unnecessary movements and switching of operators, the authorities add.
