MOSCOW, July 11 Czech tennis player Barbora Krejcikova defeated Kazakhstan's Elena Rybakina in the semifinals of Wimbledon, which is being held on grass courts in London.
The match ended with a score of 3:6, 6:3, 6:4 in favor of Krejcikova, seeded 31st. Rybakina, who is a native of Moscow, was seeded fourth in the tournament. The tennis players spent 2 hours and 7 minutes on the court.
Krejcikova will play in her first Wimbledon singles final, she won the 2021 Roland Garros. Rybakina won Wimbledon in 2022.
In the final of the third Grand Slam tournament of the season, Krejcikova will play against Italian Jasmine Paolini (7th seed).
