MOSCOW, July 13. Lokomotiv Moscow player Maxim Glushenkov responded to criticism for his transfer to Zenit, in which he assured that everything is fine at his new club.
The footballer's girlfriend posted a video from inside a car, during which Glushenkov said the following: «Dear clowns, everything is fine at Zenit.»
«They are also putting up vomit, they must have been poisoned,» the player's girlfriend Anna added.
On June 20, Zenit announced the signing of a contract with Glushenkov. The agreement is valid until the end of the 2027/28 season with an option to extend it for another year.
Last season, Glushenkov became the best assistant in the Russian championship as part of Lokomotiv (16 assists in 29 matches). He repeated the record for the number of assists, which belonged to Dmitry Loskov and Hulk.
