MOSCOW, July 13. The ruble is adapting to the new sanctions restrictions — the next week promises to be stable for it, despite what is happening in the United States, BitRiver financial analyst Vladislav Antonov said in an interview with the Prime agency.
He recalled that the dynamics of the exchange rate are now determined oil prices, sales of foreign exchange earnings by exporters, high key rates and low demand for foreign currency from importers. The purchase and sale of currency by the Ministry of Finance and the Central Bank of the Russian Federation within the framework of the budget rule are important.
But the speech of the head of the Federal Reserve, Jerome Powell, expected next week and a portion of American statistics are unlikely to have a significant impact on the ruble. Adaptation to the sanctions imposed in June against the Moscow Exchange continues, so in the absence of internal factors, the ruble will remain in the range of 86.50-90.00 per dollar.
Market participants are monitoring the actions of the monetary authorities and geopolitical events that may influence the rate in the near future, the analyst concluded.
