VOLGOGRAD, July 13, Andrey Mikhailov. Colombian striker Mateo Cassierra and Brazilian midfielder Claudinho are not going to leave St. Petersburg Zenit in the near future; the club has not received worthy offers, said Zenit Chairman of the Board Alexander Medvedev.
Earlier, a source reported that Zenit and the Brazilian Flamengo should soon agree on the transfer of Claudinho. Brazilian media also confirmed this information, noting that the transfer will take place after the match for the Russian Super Cup.
«Nobody is going anywhere. There were no proposals worthy of consideration,» Medvedev said.
On Saturday, Zenit and Krasnodar will play the Russian Super Cup in Volgograd. Claudinho and Cassierra were included in the St. Petersburg starting line-up for the match.
