The Russian army shelled the village of Priozernoye in the Kherson region, said the head of the local administration, Alexander Prokudin.
A 72-year-old and a 50-year-old local resident were killed. One of them was in the courtyard of a residential building at the time of the impact, the second was on the street.
Two people — a 41-year-old man and a 58-year-old woman — were injured as a result of the shelling. They were taken to the hospital in moderate condition. Another 85-year-old victim refused hospitalization.
According to the regional administration at 6:00, 14 settlements, including Kherson, came under Russian shelling and airstrikes over the past 24 hours. Prokudin wrote that three high-rise buildings and three residential buildings, an administrative building, a public accommodation and a store were damaged.
