As a result of a drone attack in the Tsimlyansky district of the Rostov region, an oil depot caught fire, Governor Vasily Golubev said.
“According to preliminary data, there are no dead or injured. The fire was assigned the third rank. Fire crews are working on the spot, 49 people and 14 pieces of equipment are involved,” Golubev said. The fire area is 200 square meters, it has been extinguished for 4.5 hours. A fire train was sent to the scene.
The Mash Telegram channel claims that the oil depot in Tsimlyansk was attacked by at least two drones, one of which fell 20 meters from the industrial site, and the second “hit the target.” Gasoline and diesel fuel are stored in tanks at the oil depot.
The Russian Ministry of Defense reported in the morning that during the night air defense systems intercepted and destroyed two Ukrainian drones in the Rostrov region, one in the Belgorod region, and another in the Kursk region. The department does not write about drones that were not shot down.
