MOSCOW, July 14 Krasnodar footballer Nikita Krivtsov thanked fans of the team for their support in the match for the Russian Super Cup, saying that they shouted down the fans of St. Petersburg Zenit, who were almost inaudible.
The meeting for the Super Cup took place on Saturday in Volgograd and ended with a score of 4:2 in favor of Zenit. Krivtsov scored a goal and an assist in the match. The match was attended by almost 42 thousand spectators.
«The game was too difficult, especially in the first half. If we had played the whole match like the second half, we would have won this cup. I would like to say thank you to the fans for such excellent support. It seemed that in the stands only they, the Zenit fans were almost unheard of. We will try to please you this season,” Krivtsov said in a video interview published on the Krasnodar Telegram channel.
