The production version of the new sports car of the Italian brand is expected to debut towards the end of this summer. It will probably hit the market this year.
Lamborghini introduced the “junior” model in the range – the Huracan – in the spring of 2014, it replaced the Gallardo sports car. Note that the car has several modifications, including an all-terrain version with the addition of Sterrato. It is known that the model is now retiring: the farewell version was STJ, declassified in April of this year. However, the Huracan will have a successor, which is currently in the final stages of development.

The new model of the Italian brand will most likely be called Temerario: last spring the company filed an application to register the corresponding trademark with the European Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO). So far, the prototype of the future sports car continues a series of tests: photo spies have once again caught the new product on public roads in the southern part of Europe.
Colleagues from the Spanish publication Motor.es shared fresh photos of the Lamborghini Temerario with us. The prototype is still very carefully camouflaged, although a number of exterior details can be seen. Thus, the new sports car will have main blocks of headlights of a narrow shape, LED running lights are located below, a large central air intake, a pair of side air intakes, and a splitter are built into the lower part of the front bumper.
The future two-door also has traditional exterior mirrors, original large-diameter wheels, horizontally elongated narrow-shaped lights, a large hexagonal exhaust pipe and a massive diffuser at the bottom of the rear bumper. There are no pictures of the interior yet; it is expected that the interior will borrow some of the solutions from the Lamborghini Revuelto sports car, which was presented in the spring of 2023.
The Lamborghini Temerario is expected to be a plug-in hybrid. The PHEV setup will likely be powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, which works in tandem with three electric motors. A dual-clutch automatic transmission may be offered as a pair. According to preliminary data, the total output will exceed 900 hp, all-wheel drive only. The capacity of the lithium-ion battery and the range when driving purely on electric power have not yet been reported.

Note that the outgoing Lamborghini Huracan is equipped with a 5.2-liter V10 engine. The farewell version of the STJ has the most powerful version of this engine: its maximum power is 640 hp and torque is 565 Nm.
It is expected that the premiere of the production version of the new sports car of the Italian brand will take place towards the end of this summer. Earlier, a designer at Kolesa.ru suggested what the Lamborghini Temerario might look like. The sports car will most likely enter the European market before the end of this year.
