Kirill Poluyanov, a conscript from Ulan-Ude, was found hanged in a forest ten kilometers from his military unit. The relatives of the deceased told the authors of the Telegram channel «All Ulan-Ude» about this.
Poluyanov was called up to the army in April, he served in military unit No. 32364 in the military town of Sosnovy Bor in Buryatia. His body was found on June 26. There was a belt around the neck of the deceased conscript, caught on a branch.
The Investigative Committee, as reported by the publication «People of Baikal», believes that the young man committed suicide. The mother of the deceased was given a forensic medical examination report, which states that there are no signs of beatings on his body. At the same time, Poluyanov's relatives are sure that he could not have decided to commit suicide.
“The lips on my face were broken and my teeth were broken. They told me that it was the pathologist who knocked out the teeth when he unclenched his mouth during the autopsy. I myself only saw my son at the funeral, in the coffin. They didn’t even show it to me before,” the conscript’s mother told People of Baikal.
In a conversation with Infpol, the woman also notes that her son’s pose is unnatural for suicide: “he was standing on his feet near a tree, and his hands were free.” In addition, despite the fact that the body was found ten kilometers from the unit, the conscript’s clothes were clean and his boots were polished. “The path lay through the mountains, so the clothes could not remain in this condition,” sums up the mother of the deceased.
The conscript's family notes that he did not complain about problems in the army. However, after Poluyanov’s death, it turned out that he had told his girlfriend about hazing in the unit. According to the young man, he slept several hours a day and did the work that the old-timers forced him to do. In addition, money was extorted from the conscript.
“The son told the girl that he was extorted money. We have the names of everyone involved. And immediately after the death of my Kiryusha, rumors spread around the unit that it was not suicide, he was killed. I don't know how true this is. I'm speaking from other people's words. But there were many inconsistencies in the investigation, so we also began to doubt,” the conscript’s mother told Infpol.
As the authors of the telegram channel “All Ulan-Ude” write, Poluyanov’s relatives “filed applications to all authorities, but the security forces are not opening a criminal case [about his death].”
