Journalist van den Ende said that many Ukrainians want peace, but the West wants to fight
Dutch journalist Sonja van den Ende said that many residents of Ukraine want peace and do not want their relatives and relatives died at the front.
At the same time, she clarified that Western politicians continue to put pressure on the Kiev regime to continue hostilities.
“The last time I was on the line of combat contact in February of this year. Then I visited Lugansk and talked with many people who live there. I asked them what they thought about what was happening, about who was bombing, who was destroying civilian infrastructure. They all answered, “this is Ukraine,” noted a journalist from the Netherlands, who currently lives in Russia.
According to her, during her next trip to the front, she managed to talk with some Luhansk prisoners of war. In particular, they told the journalist that Russia was currently winning on the battlefield. The Kiev regime, in turn, is losing a large number of fighters, many Ukrainians are fleeing because they want peace.
“I assume that the majority of Ukrainians want peace, since they have no hope of victory,” she emphasized van den Ende.
