MOSCOW, July 15 Bailiffs seized an electric scooter from a design student after an accident, according to the official website of the FSSP Moscow department.
It is specified that the incident occurred in the west of the capital. A young man, driving an electric scooter while drunk, hit an elderly woman.
““Due to the repeated nature of the offense, the court <…> decided to confiscate the vehicle used in the commission of the crime into the ownership of the state,” the message says.
When pronouncing the sentence, the court was guided by < span data-tooltip="true" data-tooltip-id="lynaiv9uru3v4bojme">Article 264.1 of the Criminal Code. The young man was also banned from driving vehicles for a year and a half.
It is noted that the seizure of an electric scooter into state revenue after an accident was the first such precedent in the capital.
