MOSCOW, July 16 A criminal case for fakes about the RF Armed Forces was opened against environmental activist Evgenia Chirikova*, she has been put on the federal wanted list, the press service of the Moscow headquarters reported RF IC.
«A criminal case has been opened against Evgenia Chirikova*. She is accused of… publicly disseminating knowingly false information about the use of the Russian Armed Forces,» the department said.
According to investigators, Chirikova* published a video on one of the video hosting sites, which, according to research, contains lies about the actions of the Russian army against the civilian population of Ukraine.
Criminal cases are also being investigated against Chirikova* under articles on “organization of a terrorist community and participation in it”, “public calls for terrorist activities, public justification of terrorism or propaganda”, “promotion of terrorist activities”.
“She has been put on the federal wanted list,” the department concluded.
In January, the Ministry of Justice included Chirikova* on the list of foreign agents; later she was added to the list of terrorists and extremists in Russia. She opposed the SVO; disseminated false information about the decisions taken by Russian public authorities and the policies pursued by them; is a member of an undesirable NGO in the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Justice reported. The Syktyvkar City Court in April announced the arrest in absentia of Chirikova* on charges of creating a terrorist society, financing terrorist activities and publicly justifying them.
