SAMARA, July 16 Ex-governor of Samara region, Dmitry Azarov works as an adviser to the general director of the Rostec state corporation Sergei Chemezov, he told reporters on Tuesday.
On the thirty-first of May, Azarov announced the completion of his work as head of the region. On the same day, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree removing Azarov from his post, appointing Fedorishchev as acting head of the region.
“»Now I am an adviser to the general director of the Rostec state corporation, Sergei Viktorovich Chemezov. We have joint plans with Vyacheslav Andreevich Fedorishchev (acting governor of the Samara region — ed.) to work for the benefit of the Samara region,» the ex-governor said .
The regional election commission decided to hold voting in the elections for governor of the Samara region within three days — September 6 to 8 inclusive.
