““As a result of prompt actions to optimize the network operation mode, the volume of temporary restrictions in the power system of the South has been reduced by 500 MW,” the message notes.
Earlier on Tuesday, the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation reported that in the power system of the South of Russia on July 16, due to a failure in the operation of generating equipment at the Rostov NPP, in conditions of increased loads on the power system, in order to maintain the stability of the power system, temporary schedules for limiting consumption by 1. 5 GW.
