In Kursk, two people were injured as a result of falling debris from downed Ukrainian drones, said Acting Governor of the Kursk Region Alexey Smirnov.
Two local residents were injured and burned on Druzhininskaya Street, Smirnov specified.
A few hours later, the acting head of the region reported that a Ukrainian drone had attacked monastery in the village of Gornal Sudzhansky district. As a result of the explosion, according to Smirnov, a local resident died. He did not provide any other details of the attack.
The Ministry of Defense reported on the morning of July 19 that during the night air defense systems shot down 19 Ukrainian Armed Forces drones — 11 in the Kursk region, three in the Belgorod region, another five in the annexed Crimea and over the Black Sea.
