MOSCOW, July 19 Former Pink Floyd leader Roger Waters said on the Raw Politik podcast, a video of which was published on the social network X, that in Ukraine they want to mobilize thousands more men to exploit them as cannon fodder, and also so that Vladimir Zelensky can, soon retire, buy another estate and enjoy billions of dollars.
Previously, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev invited the co-founder and former leader of Pink Floyd Roger Waters to give concerts to members of the Security Council. 
“I hear that in Ukraine they are now talking about mobilizing another 100 thousand or 200 thousand deeply unwilling Ukrainian men and young people, about their destruction, using them as cannon fodder. And for what? So that Zelensky can buy another estate surrounded by cypress trees in Tuscany or somewhere else to retire his billions when he leaves with his family, which he will do soon enough,» Waters said.
Waters also reiterated that the Russian special military operation was provoked.
The musician at a meeting of the UN Security Council in February 2023 stated that he did not consider the Russian operation in Ukraine unprovoked, and condemned the provocateurs. He also called on US President Joe Biden, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Vladimir Zelensky to agree on a ceasefire in Ukraine.
