On Friday morning, a global failure of Windows-based equipment began, which affected telecom operators, banks and airlines around the world. The American company CrowdStrike confirmed that a global failure in Windows occurred due to its update for the Falcon Sensor cybersecurity application.
“We are aware of the incident and are studying the problem and its consequences,” a representative of the White House National Security Council told the TV channel.
At the same time, the Washington Police Department from the social network X said that it continues to work as usual and no serious disruptions in the provision of security to residents occurred due to the failure.
