MOSCOW, July 19 The official exchange rate of the yuan to the ruble, set by the Central Bank of the Russian Federation since Saturday, increased by 1.08 kopecks, to 12.0335 rubles, the dollar exchange rate — by 14.52 kopecks, to 88.0206 rubles, the euro exchange rate decreased by 6.47 kopecks, to 96.0371 rubles, follows from data from the Bank of Russia.
After US sanctions on Starting from June 13, the Moscow Exchange of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation sets the official exchange rates for the dollar and euro on weekdays based on bank reports and information from over-the-counter trading. At the same time, the yuan exchange rate is still determined by the market rate of the Moscow Exchange.
On June 12, the United States expanded sanctions against Russia to include the Moscow Exchange. Against this background, exchange trading in the dollar and euro was suspended and transferred to the over-the-counter market.
