The Ministry of Justice added four people to the register of “foreign agents.” This includes pianist Yevgeny Kissin, who spoke out against the war in Ukraine, and human rights activist Grigory Mikhnov-Vaitenko is a bishop of the Apostolic Orthodox Church who helps Ukrainian refugees.
According to the Ministry of Justice, Kissin “transferred funds to the Armed Forces of Ukraine” and “participated as a respondent in information platform provided by foreign media,” and Mikhnov-Vaitenko criticized the war and “participated in the creation and dissemination of materials of foreign agents.”
In addition to them, the former coordinator of Alexei Navalny’s headquarters in Saratov Dmitry Tsibirev and the former KGB intelligence officer Yuri Shvets, who lives in America and runs a YouTube channel about politics, which has more than 1.4 million subscribers.
