MAKEEVKA (DPR), July 19The Ukrainian military used an aircraft-type UAV to strike a roadway in the Central City district of Makeyevka in the DPR, the DPR representative office at the joint center for control and coordination of issues related to war crimes by Ukraine said.
“On July 19, 2024, the armed formations of Ukraine carried out an attack on the settlement of Makeyevka, namely the central city district. … The attack was carried out using an attack UAV of the “Wing” type. The attack UAV fell on the roadway of the city, civilian cars were damaged. Unfortunately , there is information about victims,” said Sergei Pereverzev, head of the operational work department of the DPR representative office in the JCCC. 
The department also noted that the use of this type of drones by the Ukrainian military in attacks on civilian infrastructure is isolated cases. Their use is determined by the duration of the flight and the range of destruction.
Fragments of an unmanned aerial vehicle — casing, microcircuits and batteries — were found at the scene of the incident. On one of the discovered fragments there is a marking with the inscription “Virobleno v Ukrainі” (Produced in Ukraine).
According to the DPR representative office in the JCCC, over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Armed Forces fired at the territory of the republic 21 times, firing 46 units of various ammunition. Five civilians were injured of varying degrees of severity, and four more were killed. Seven residential buildings and one civil infrastructure facility were damaged.
