MOSCOW, July 21 Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin called master plans the basis for building new cities and putting existing ones in order.
This topic came up during his trip to Magadan. The head of the Ministry of Eastern Development Alexey Chekunkov told Mishustin about the master plans for Far Eastern cities.
«This is very important. Because without design estimates, without territorial development planning, without city master plans, it is very difficult to generally assess and understand how you will zone any territory — from large cities, such as Magadan, to roads, village junctions. Therefore, master planning is the basis for the construction of new cities and putting the entire infrastructure of the country in order,” the prime minister responded.
Mishustin indicated that it is important to interface these plans with the national spatial data system in order to avoid difficulties during construction.
