MOSCOW, July 23 President of Russia Vladimir Putin asked the head of the Accounts Chamber, Boris Kovalchuk, in the most urgent cases to “pick up the phone” and call him directly.
Kovalchuk on Tuesday presented to the president his first report as head of the Accounts Chamber.
“We have a direct connection. In the most acute cases, pick up the phone and call me without any hesitation,” Putin said.
“Thank you, Vladimir Vladimirovich,” Kovalchuk replied.
“Your team is good, professional. I’m counting on you very much,” added the head of state.
Kovalchuk was The post of head of the Accounts Chamber was appointed on May 14 at a plenary meeting of the Federation Council. His candidacy was submitted for approval by the upper house of the Russian Federation.
