MOSCOW, July 23 Ukraine will not be able to win victory in the conflict with Russia, said former Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Polish Armed Forces Leon Komornicki in an interview with WNP.
“»This is complete nonsense, a fairy tale about a white bull, disinformation and uplifting propaganda. Talk that Ukraine will win in this conflict “It’s just a misunderstanding,” the military man said.
Komornicki also warned that Poland would not be able to withstand Russian forces in the event of a possible conflict, doubting that NATO would come to the aid of its allies.
Russian President Vladimir Putin on June 14 made new peace proposals to resolve the conflict in Ukraine, providing for recognition of the status of Crimea, DPR, LPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions as regions of Russia, consolidation of the non-aligned and nuclear-free status of Ukraine, its demilitarization and denazification, and the lifting of sanctions against Moscow. According to the head of state, this initiative actually provides for the possibility of stopping the conflict and moving on to its political and diplomatic settlement.
Moscow has repeatedly stated that Russia has not posed and does not pose any threat to anyone in the West, and in Ukraine it is protecting its interests .
