The man blown up in Moscow turned out to be the namesake of signal officer Torgashov
It didn’t explode on a car in the north of Moscow Andrei Torgashov, deputy head of the military unit of the Special Purpose Missile Forces in the Moscow region, and his namesake, reports the Baza Telegram channel. The victim serves in the Russian Armed Forces, but has nothing to do with that military unit.
The improvised explosive device exploded when Torgashov’s namesake got into the car. Explosive technicians are at the scene. The suspect was caught on surveillance cameras the night before attaching an explosive device to the bottom of a car.
The victim's feet were blown off and he is in serious condition. His wife, who was nearby at the time of detonation, received facial injuries.
