MOSCOW, July 23 The Bank of Russia has planned to conduct cyber exercises with the central banks of the BRICS countries in August-September this year, the Russian regulator said.
““The first cross-border cyber exercises of central banks will take place in August-September,” the statement said.
The Central Bank announced in the spring that cyber exercises with colleagues from the national banks of the BRICS countries are planned in 2024. In 2023, the plan and scenario for the event were being prepared, and relevant questionnaires were sent to participants.
On January 1, Russia became the chairman of BRICS for the coming year. It began with the accession of new members to the organization: following the results of the 2023 summit, a decision was made to invite Egypt, Ethiopia, Iran, the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
