ST. PETERSBURG, July 24 One person was killed and four were injured in a collision between two cars in the Vologda region, the regional Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported on Wednesday.
The accident occurred on Wednesday at the 185th kilometer of the A-114 highway in the Cherepovets region: a 40-year-old driver of a Mitsubishi Lancer, while overtaking, drove into oncoming traffic, where a collision occurred with a Haval car driven by a 35-year-old driver.
«»As a result of the accident, the driver of the Haval car and his passengers were injured: a 35-year-old woman and two minors, a 15-year-old girl and an 11-year-old boy. All victims were taken to medical facilities. The driver of the Mitsubishi Lancer died on the spot until emergency medical services arrive,» the statement said.
State traffic inspectors are establishing the circumstances of the accident.
