MOSCOW, July 24 Those accused of preparing a terrorist attack at Moscow's Sheremetyevo airport were promised $3,000 for the crime, the money was to come from Ukraine, officials reported law enforcement agencies.
““They were promised to pay three thousand dollars. The funds were supposed to be sent from Ukraine,” the agency’s interlocutor said. 
According to him, the promised amount did not reach the recipients.
On Wednesday, the state prosecution, during the debate of the parties in the Second Western District Military Court, asked for 28 years in prison for Mikhail Darius and 21 years for Ilya Kovylkova, accused of preparing a terrorist attack at Sheremetyevo. The prosecutor believes that Darius and the first 3 years Kovylkov should spend the first 5 years in prison, the rest of the term in a maximum security colony, and also asked for a fine of 1.5 million rubles for both.
According to the investigation, the accused planned to blow up fuel tanks at the central gas station at Sheremetyevo airport in order to destabilize the situation in the country and were engaged in propaganda of terrorism on the Telegram channel. The investigation established that Kovylkov and Darius acted on instructions from the Ukrainian special services.
According to the court file, the men are charged with preparing for a terrorist attack and attempting to illegally manufacture explosives. Darius was also charged with public calls for terrorist activities and participation in the activities of a terrorist organization.
