MOSCOW, July 25 Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, at a meeting with Russian leader Vladimir Putin, said their talks were relevant against the backdrop of current geopolitical events to discuss possible prospects and scenarios.
«Considering all the events that are happening in the world today and in the Eurasian region as a whole, our meeting today seems very important for discussing all the details of the development of these events, for discussing possible prospects and scenarios,» he said at a meeting with the Russian president in the Kremlin the day before.
