
DONETSK, July 25 A civilian was killed as a result of shelling of the Petrovsky district of Donetsk by Ukrainian troops, the city's mayor Alexei Kulemzin reported on his Telegram channel.
«According to additional information, today during the shelling of the Petrovsky district on Krasnogorovskaya Street, a man born in 1973 was killed,» the mayor's statement reads.
The DPR representative office in the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of Issues Related to War Crimes of Ukraine (JCCC) reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces fired 11 NATO 155-millimeter shells at the Petrovsky district of Donetsk and Gorlovka from 15:50 to 16:55.
The Petrovsky district is located on the western outskirts of Donetsk, it is the most remote part of the city from the center. Since 2014, when the DPR declared independence from Kyiv, this area has been regularly shelled by Ukrainian security forces.
