Eight people were injured in an explosion at a gas production facility in the Nenets Autonomous Okrug, more one died.
According to Baza, the incident occurred at about 3 a.m. local time, approximately 40 kilometers from Novy Urengoy. According to preliminary information, the explosion occurred at a complex gas treatment facility owned by Rosneft.
At the moment, information about 7 injured and one dead has been confirmed. Emergency services are working at the scene.
