MOSCOW, July 25 According to 28 percent of Russians, now is a good time to make large purchases, 44 percent of respondents hold the opposite opinion, according to a VTsIOM poll.
The consumer confidence index (measured in points) in June 2024 was 44 points. According to 28% of respondents, now is a good time to make large purchases, 44% of Russians believe that now is a bad time for this, 28% of respondents found it difficult to answer, according to the survey results published on the VTsIOM website. 
The consumer confidence index is based on the question «Do you think now is a good time to make large purchases or not?» and shows how favorable Russians consider the current time to be for making purchases.
The data is presented based on daily telephone surveys by VTsIOM-Sputnik, which are conducted among 1.6 thousand respondents over 18 years of age.
