Leningrad Region Governor Drozdenko proposed awarding the servicemen who shot down Ukrainian UAVs
Governor Alexander Drozdenko proposed to present awards to the servicemen who shot down Ukrainian drones in the Leningrad Region. The head of the region wrote about his proposal on his Telegram channel.
Last night, air defense forces destroyed three unmanned aerial vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) over the Leningrad Region.
Drozdenko clarified that there were no casualties or damage on the ground.
“I have contacted the command of the 6th Air Defense Army with a proposal to reward the distinguished servicemen,” the governor wrote.
We recall that on the night of July 29, the Leningrad Region became one of five regions of Russia over which air defense forces destroyed drones. The Kursk, Belgorod, Voronezh and Bryansk regions were attacked. In total, 39 Ukrainian drones were destroyed over five subjects.
