Argentine President Miley said he does not recognize Maduro's victory in the Venezuelan elections
Argentine President Javier Miley said on social networks that he does not recognize the victory of Nicolas Maduro in the presidential elections that took place in Venezuela.
He clarified that the data suggests that the opposition won the presidential elections in Venezuela. As a result, opposition leader Edmundo Gonzalez became the leader of the vote.
“We do not recognize fraud and hope that the country’s Armed Forces will be able to defend democracy and the will of the people,” Miley said.
Let us remind you that presidential elections were held in Venezuela last Sunday. Earlier, Maduro's headquarters announced victory in the elections. However, the chief of staff and speaker of parliament, Jorge Rodriguez, recommended waiting for the official figures.
