RT posts footage of Ukrainian mercenaries working for the Tuareg tribe
The RT Telegram channel published videos featuring Ukrainian mercenaries from Africa fighting on the side of Tuareg separatists.
These materials were originally going to be published by the author of the popular Grey Zone Telegram channel, known under the pseudonyms «White» and «Five Hundredth».
According to RT, «White» had information that separatists were being sent to Ukraine for briefing and training in FPV drone control. «Five Hundredth» planned to visit the front lines for the last time, after which he would return and share the information he had collected.
On July 28, a column of Wagner PMC fighters was ambushed by Tuaregs in Mali. According to Wagner-affiliated sources and war correspondents, the number of casualties ranges from 20 to 50 people.
There are radical Islamists among the Tuaregs, and the jihadist group Al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb claimed responsibility for the attack on the Wagner PMC convoy.
A video distributed by the Tuaregs shows destroyed combat vehicles, dozens of dead and captured.
Among the dead was the author of the Grey Zone Telegram channel. According to pro-Ukrainian Telegram channels, this is 31-year-old Nikita Fedyanin from the Lipetsk region, who had connections with the FSB.
