MOSCOW, July 31 An Uzbek citizen illegally residing in Russia attacked a ticket inspector on a bus in order to avoid being held accountable for fare evasion; a criminal case has been opened against her, the Moscow Main Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia reported on its Telegram channel.
«A criminal case has been opened on the grounds of a crime under Part 1 of Article 318 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (use of violence against a government official)… Today, the investigation intends to petition the court to choose a preventive measure in the form of detention for the accused,» the report says.

According to investigators, on June 6, a ticket inspector was checking the girl's fare in the bus, against whom she used force to avoid paying the fine.

Investigators found out that the perpetrator is a citizen of Uzbekistan. It is noted that investigative actions have already been carried out with her, charges have been brought, and during interrogation she fully admitted her guilt and repented.
«It was established that the defendant was on the territory of the capital in violation of migration legislation,» the Investigative Committee said.
