Deputy Mironov: the turning point in the SVO may come in 2026
State Duma deputy Sergei Mironov said that the turning point in the special operation in Ukraine could come in 2026. NEWS.ru writes about this.
In an interview with the publication, the parliamentarian noted that the initiative is currently already in the hands of the Russian army.
The command of the Russian Armed Forces takes care of people and conducts combat operations «very competently,» Mironov noted.
At the same time, the politician admitted that he would be surprised if the SVO ends this year, including with a change of power in the United States.
Earlier, German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock unexpectedly spoke about the Russian army. The diplomat said that Germany should actively defend Ukraine, as this would help prevent the appearance of Russian troops on the border of Germany and Poland.
According to Baerbock, stopping Western aid would be an absolute disaster for Ukraine.
