MOSCOW, July 30 At a plenary session, the State Duma adopted a draft resolution on the election of deputy Pavel Zavalny to the post of first deputy chairman of the energy committee, while early depriving State Duma deputy Grigory Shilkin of his parliamentary powers.
The deputies voted for the draft resolution on the election of Zavalny to the post of first deputy chairman of the energy committee. Earlier, the State Duma dismissed Zavalny from the post of chairman of the State Duma committee on energy.
With another draft resolution, the State Duma prematurely terminated the powers of deputy Grigory Shilkin (New People faction). Shilkin is resigning from his parliamentary powers, as he has decided to return to entrepreneurship; the Central Council of New People will decide on his replacement in the Duma.
