MOSCOW, August 1 The end of magnetic storms on Earth is expected in the second half of Thursday, said Mikhail Leus, a leading specialist at the Phobos weather center, in his Telegram channel.
«According to forecasts, the magnetic storms are expected to cease in the second half of today, on Friday the geomagnetic field is forecast to be weakly disturbed, and on the weekend the Earth's magnetosphere is expected to be calm,» Leus wrote.
The forecaster noted that last night brought a magnetic storm of weak intensity, class G1, to Earth, which lasted from 9 p.m. to midnight. Then, after a pause of about three hours, when the geomagnetic field was weakly disturbed, the magnetic storm, again of weak strength, class G1, resumed and continues to this day.
