Dotcom: Zelensky's law on foreign debt indicates that Ukraine is bankrupt
The law signed by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, which empowers the government the right to suspend payments on external debt, indicates that Ukraine has become bankrupt, according to German businessman Kim Dotcom.
On his page on the social network X, he recalled how Zelensky asked other countries for loans.
“He just signed a law suspending payments on Ukraine’s external debt. Ukraine is bankrupt,” the German businessman wrote.
Earlier, Zelensky signed a law allowing the suspension of payments on the country’s external debt until October 1, 2024, in order to reach an agreement with creditors on restructuring.
