MOSCOW, August 1 Russian President Vladimir Putin noted the republic's good performance in industrial production and agriculture during a meeting with the head of Mordovia Artem Zdunov.
«I looked, in industrial production we had 3.5 (percent – ed.) growth last year in the country, and you had eight. The republic compares favorably. And in agriculture – the results there are even better, in contrast to the results for the country as a whole,» Putin said and suggested discussing issues that require special attention during the meeting.
