The Oktyabrsky District Court of St. Petersburg suspended the operation of the Vogel bar for 90 days based on a protocol for violation of sanitary and epidemiological requirements (Article 6.6 of the Administrative Code). This was reported by the press service of the city courts.
Rospotrebnadzor claims that during the inspection they found unmarked culinary products, expired meat products, as well as dirt, insects and sticky traces in the production premises. In addition, according to the department, the dishes in the bar were washed improperly. Another complaint from Rospotrebnadzor is that an intern does not have a medical book and “an idea of what he is doing.”
This is the second closure of the Vogel bar this year. In May, the same Oktyabrsky District Court of St. Petersburg suspended the operation of the establishment for 80 days. The reason was the denunciation of a student who, after visiting a bar, was allegedly diagnosed with “acute gastroenteritis.”
In addition, serial informer and homophobe Timur Bulatov previously complained about the institution, which held lectures with opposition speakers and letter evenings for political prisoners.
On Saturday, July 27, the bar opened again, however, as its employees wrote, “it was open for 12 minutes.” Police officers, Center “E” and Rospotrebnadzor came to the party. On that day, security forces detained Pavel Kreshchenin, a candidate for municipal deputies, at the establishment.
