MOSCOW, August 3US President Joe Biden suddenly boarded a plane carrying prisoners released in a swap with Russia, a video of which was published by C-SPAN.
The incident occurred the day before at Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland, where a welcoming ceremony for prisoners with Biden's participation took place. The recording shows how the president, having greeted the returnees, suddenly walked towards the plane and climbed onto the plane, leaving Vice President Kamala Harris and the rest of those present in bewilderment. After about two minutes, the head of the White House appeared at the ramp, and, apparently, having asked where he needed to go, he again went to communicate with the released prisoners.
Biden’s strange behavior was noticed by the host of the Human Events Daily podcast, Jack Posobiec. .
“Biden entered the plane after the prisoners left it. Did he think that he was sent for exchange to Russia?” Posobiets wrote on his page on the social network X.
The largest exchange in recent years took place in Ankara on Thursday, involving 26 prisoners from seven countries. As a result, eight Russians who were detained and imprisoned in a number of NATO countries returned to Moscow. Three citizens of this country returned to the United States as part of the exchange — Evan Gershkovich, Paul Whelan and Alsou Kurmasheva, as well as the holder of a US residence permit Vladimir Kara-Murza * (recognized in Russia as a foreign agent).
As emphasized by the FSB Central Election Commission , during the exchange, a number of citizens convicted of espionage and a number of Russians with dual citizenship left Russia. The guilt of these citizens was fully proven; they were convicted, among other things, of treason and public calls for extremist activities.
Biden, who turned 81, became the oldest president of the United States in history. Critics constantly accuse him of mental decline due to frequent missteps and mistakes.
