
EKATERINBURG, August 3 Residents of apartments that survived the partial collapse of a five-story building in Nizhny Tagil will be allowed into the building accompanied by rescuers to pick up valuables, the office of the plenipotentiary representative in the Urals Federal District reports.
«»Plenipotentiary Representative to the Urals Federal District Vladimir Yakushev instructed to organize access for residents to the surviving apartments of the building where the incident occurred in Nizhny Tagil. This request was made by the affected residents during the meeting. It was decided that from today residents will be allowed into the apartments one by one, accompanied by rescuers and the police to take away valuables,» the report said. 
Two entrances of a five-story gasified building on Sibirskaya, 81 in Nizhny Tagil collapsed on Thursday due to an explosion of a gas-air mixture. A state of emergency has been introduced in the Dzerzhinsky district of the city. The regional department of the RF IC opened a criminal case regarding the performance of work or provision of services that did not meet the requirements.
According to the Ministry of Health, 11 people are in hospitals, five refused hospitalization. Ten people died, five of them children. The third of August has been declared a day of mourning.
