MOSCOW, August 5 Investigative Committee Russia showed footage of the detention of participants in a mass brawl in Feodosia, in which Russian boxing champion Dmitry Dvali was injured; the corresponding video was published in the Telegram channel of the Russian Investigative Committee.
On the video lasting 1 minute and 17 seconds, you can see that the arrests took place when the defendants got out of their cars, at their places of residence and in entertainment establishments.
In addition, the department showed footage of checking the testimony of the defendants on the ground.
Earlier, the Russian Investigative Committee reported that nine participants in the mass brawl in Feodosia had been identified, detained, and charged with attempted murder. The defendants are citizens of the Russian Federation, three of whom are security guards at a local club, the rest are laborers. It is noted that the 23-year-old athlete and his 43-year-old friend were recognized as victims in a criminal case.
Dvali was seriously injured in a fight in Feodosia, his coach Ivan Shchyolok said earlier. According to him, the 23-year-old athlete went for a swim; on the embankment, he and a friend “saw that the crowd was beating one boy and stood up.” According to the boxer's trainer, Dvali has “a very severe injury to his eye” and was hospitalized in Moscow.
