EKATERINBURG, August 7 The foreman and two plumbers of the GazEx company, accused of providing poor quality services, which led to the collapse of two entrances of a residential building in Nizhny Tagil and the deaths ten people were placed under house arrest, the Sverdlovsk Regional Court reported.

«The court refused to satisfy the investigator's motion to place the accused in custody,» the court noted.
House arrest was ordered until October 1 inclusive.
Two entrances of a five-story building on Sibirskaya, 81, in Nizhny Tagil collapsed on August 1 due to an explosion of a gas-air mixture. Ten people died, five of them children. More than 20 residents were injured.
The Investigative Committee opened a criminal case on the performance of work or provision of services that do not meet the requirements for the safety of life and health of consumers. As the department stated, the explosion occurred due to the accumulation of a gas-air mixture due to improper maintenance.
On Tuesday, the press service of the supply organization «Gazeks» reported the detention of a foreman and two plumbers of their company. At the same time, the organization previously emphasized that maintenance of gas equipment in the building where the emergency occurred was carried out on June 26 and at the time of the inspection, the building's gas distribution system was in good working order.
