VOLGOGRAD, August 8 Three people remain in the hospital after the emergency with a passenger train in the Volgograd region, the regional administration reported on Thursday in its Telegram channel.
«Three victims of the collision between a train and a truck are continuing treatment at Hospital No. 25. The condition of the patients, aged 54, 31 and 43, is assessed as moderate,» the authorities said in a statement.
On Monday, July 29, on the Gremyachaya-Kotelnikovo section in the Volgograd Region, the driver of a Kamaz truck drove onto a railroad crossing against a red light and collided with passenger train No. 491 Kazan-Adler. According to the Russian Emergencies Ministry, nine train cars derailed and seven cars overturned. There were 803 passengers on the train in total. About 140 people received abrasions and bruises, 30 people were hospitalized, including 15 children.
