BEIRUT, Aug. 8 Four Syrian soldiers were wounded in an Israeli strike on an army position in central Syria, the Syrian Defense Ministry said.
Earlier, a source said that Israeli aircraft struck Syrian army targets in Homs province.
«At around 20:55 today, hostile Israel carried out an aggression from the airspace of northern Lebanon, attacking a number of targets in the central part (of the country), … as a result, four soldiers were wounded,» the statement said.
